Health educator
The official Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) definition of a health educator is one who: “promotes, maintains, and improves individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors.
Median pay (annual): 41,830 USD (2012)
Median pay (hourly): 20.11 USD (2012)
Projected 10-year growth: 21% (2012)

Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for community health workers.

I would like to be a health educator because I like to learn about health a lot and I think that it would be fun to be one.
